a relative but how are you both related as he has HUBERT as a middle name?
I did sign the guest book that the funeral home is maintaining. I am so sorry for this

Funeral service for William Hubert Carmack long time resident of Auburn,
Alabama and later Dadeville, Alabama is Saturday, December 16, 2006 at
10:00 a.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel with interment immediately following
at Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery. Minister Steve Poteat is officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Carmack will be at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home Friday
evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Carmack, who died Tuesday morning
December 12, 2006 at the age of 76 was born July 18, 1930 in Macon
County, AL. He was a 33 year veteran of the Auburn Fire Department where
he served in the capacity of fireman, emergency medical technician, and
building code enforcer. Upon retirement from the city of Auburn in 1989,
Hubert joined his wife, Dot Carmack, in the real estate business until
her death in 1991. He moved to Lake Martin in 1993 where he spent his
time gardening and sharing his flowers with everyone. Hubert served on
the board of directors of the Pace's Point Volunteer Fire Department in
Dadeville, Alabama for many years and also on the Walnut Hill Water
Authority Board. He was a loved member of Lake Martin Baptist Church.
Hubert is survived by one sister, Vonceal Powell of Opelika, Alabama and
two daughters, Debra Yeargan of Birmingham, Alabama and Connie Carmack
of Douglasville, Georgia. He has two granddaughters in Birmingham,
Alabama, Ashley Harlan Kitchens and Kirstin Harlan-Longoria. He found
great joy in his two great-grandchildren, Michael Alexander Bunn and
McKenna Dupree Kitchens. Members of the Pace's Point Volunteer Fire
Department will serve as pallbearers, including Jack Saint, Dan Hart,
Margie Meyling, Ed Wilkes, Brian Deis, Jacob Hess, and Ashley Jackson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Pace's
Point Volunteer Fire Department 9442 County Road 34 West Dadeville,
Alabama 36853 or the Alzheimer's Association. Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral
Home is directing.
