Hi Aaron,
What type of Ancestry DNA test did you take? If you haven't taken a Y-DNA test then
I'd recommend doing if via FTDNA and join the Carmack group.
Also, my recommendation would be to disconnect Christopher from Dennis. I don't recall
Dr Peckham proving any relationship merely pointing out that there was a Christopher
Carmack traveling to the states but no evidence he ever lived here.
If you did the ancestry autosomal test then you shouldn't match with me as Cornelius
and Dennis do not appear related.
When were you in the Navy? I was in 1977-1983.

My first post: my
Ancestry.com handle is "Arkscott". We have researched our
Ancestry to Christopher Carmack born 1653 in Ireland. He arrived in America 1678.

Please feel free to review my tree and correct me on errors or copy any new information.
I am on again off again and fairly new at this research. My line is: James Roy
Carmack/Joe Monroe Carmack/Oscar Monroe Carmack/Walter Littleton Frederick Carmack/Berry
Littleton Carmack/Frederick Carmack/William Carmack/John Carmack II/John Carmack I/James
Carmack/Dennis Carmack/Christopher Carmack (Carmick).
I did do a DNA test from Ancestry, is there some where I need to link it?
Thanks, Scott
