Well said Dale!
Also, the November 1749 date is when Cornelius' will of May 13, 1746 was probated. His
date of death was probably 1749, but it could have happened anytime in between those
dates.
Guein's maiden name is unknown. She was married before Cornelius as a Jonathan Jones
who was in Chester Co, PA by August 1741 conveyed Jonathan's Inheritance on Deer Creek
to William Smith of Lancaster Co, PA. Gwin Carmack relinquished her right of dower in the
property so he could sell it. (Baltimore Co Families 1659-1759 by R. Barnes 1989) A dower
is a widow's share for life of her husband's estate. One of the children listed in
Cornelius' will was a Corem so someone somewhere took that to be Guein's name
too.
William's wife Jane is thought to have been a McDaniel but that's not been
proven.
As to children of Sherbean, try the 1940 census (if no luck wait a couple months until it
is completely indexed), and look for obituaries for him and family members. Your local
library may have subscriptions to
Ancestry.com or archived newspaper sites.
