Hey Norm: It's good to see your smiling face, uhh, hear your pleasing voice, uhh, or
whatever. At least we know you are still alive. I have missed reading comments from the
Carmack Cousins. We need to get an update going.
Just the other day I started reading Agnes Jones' Newsletters again. Sometimes we
need to refresh our memories.
I recently went to the Cumberland Gap, TN Jamboree. Was there on a Friday and didn't
see much going on. I was a bit disappointed. But, I did find a couple of cemeteries with
ancestors. It was like going back in time a hundred years. Even found the old springs
where my grandmother, Amanda Carmack Rowlett, drew their water and did her laundry. It
was wonderful. Got photos of my children and me drinking from the spring--the clearest,
coldest, best tasting water you ever drank. Even better than my Dr. Peppers!

Hello out there all of you lovely Carmack folks! Not a lot of
activity lately....that mean
you all haven't found Cornelius of 1681's parents yet! Hah!
Can anyone please tell me who this "Ira J.("Jack) Carmack descend
from ? I have an
Ira J.(Jay) in my family about the same age who also served in WWII,
but it is not him.
Thanks..
