As I don't normally post, I hope this is the correct address to place an
announcement. My Uncle, Virgil Carmack, passed away last night and I thought
there may be others on the list who would want to know. Here is the
obituary:
Virgil Carmack

Virgil L. Carmack went to be with his Lord July 6, 2010 at the age of 96.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday, July 9, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home in
Byram. Services will be 10am Saturday, July 10, 2010 in the funeral home
chapel followed by interment at Lakewood Memorial Park. He was a lifelong
resident of Crocker, MO until 2004 when he and his wife moved to Byram, MS
to be near their family. He was born to Jess and Tressie Carmack on October
30, 1913. Mr. Carmack was a faithful member of the Crocker Christian Church
where he served many years as a Deacon. He also was a member of the Crocker
Lion's Club for over 50 years. After moving to Byram, he attended Wynndale
Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lloyd,
Edgar and Bill; sisters Alma Vandergriff, Dorothy Klein, Pluma Brown and Kay
Reed. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Eula of 75 years. Also, his
daughter Norma Kinsley; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Bill Sermons;
five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great
grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the Crocker Christian Church, P.O. Box 98 Crocker, MO 65452.
