Alice
Blake Carlton is my line also.
Question: Who is the father of John Flood?
You show that Blake II died bef 1707 is that an error: I have that he died
before 1787 .
Blake II's brother John born about 1730 married Agatha Lindsey abt 1752.
They had a son George born abt 1765.
I would like to find proof of George's wife.
I have seen her listed as Mary Bone married in Surry County, NC (no such
record exists)
The information supposedly came from researcher Robert Davidson.
Much of Robert's research has be distorted since in was put online.
I contacted Robert years ago and he said he did not know the wife of George.
George is my 4th great grandfather.
His son Moses b.3 3 1805 in SC, also married a unknown Mary.
Moses son Winshell my 2nd grandfather married Sarah Brooks 6 9 1855 in
Yadkin County, NC.
Winshell died in the Civil War.
I have seen a lot of information from Blake I down that just can't be
proven.
