Subject: [CARLTON] Carlton Migration
Hi All,
I will be working on the road these next 2-3 weeks. In my spare time I will be
working on the Carlton migration. I appreciate those of you who have answered
the roll call and told about the migration of your Carlton ancestors. I hope to
investigate King & Queen County, VA as this is the area of the most
concentration of the Carlton surname.
Some of my collateral Carlton ancestors added an “e” = Carleton. Their family
ties stated it was spelled that way for many years.
Keep searching! We’ll all share.
Regards, Ann
