Hi Ron.
You may be a connection I have been looking for.
I have been looking for information concerning John Andrew Carlson
He was born 1869, so would fall in line to be the brother of your Mathilda
Carldotter b 1873. In fact, John Andrew had a sister names Hilda. (could be
the nick name for Mathilda) She came over to the US the same time he did,
but she went to Cleveland, Oh. I do not know how long she remained there. I
do not recall where abouts in Sweden they came from. I will check tonight to
see if from the same place that you mentioned below.
Fathers name was Carl Isaacson, mother was Elizabeth. Both remained in
Sweden.
Connection?
John Andrew Carlson settled in Ashdabula, Oh. Married Thilda Jeppson.
He was a dairy farmer. Lived in the area of South Ridge. 12 daughters.

Subject: 1900 fed census
Hi folks,
Would someone with the 1900 federal census close at hand, please lookup the
following family in MPLS? My g-grandfather, Charles J. Swanson, (Swenson) b
1864 in Sweden, (still at a brick wall concerning where in Sweden he was
born) and his wife, Olivia
Mathilda Carlsdotter (Vallin) b 1873 in Wallsberg, Väderstad, Östergotland,
Sweden, lived in north Minneapolis during the late 1880s and the 1900s.
Their address on Feb 12, 1892 was 2423 Aldrich Ave No. MPLS. Later they
lived in the Camden area in north MPLS. Their address in the Camden area was
41xx something on Bryant Ave to Fremont Aves No. Children are Ted and
Marvey, maybe more.
Thanks,
Ron Holmquist
