EDGERTON--Phillip A. CArlson, 57, Rt. 1, Edgerton, died at his home Thursday. He had been
ill for several years.
Born July 21, 1913, in Bradford township and a lifelong Rock County resident, Mr. Carlson
was a World War II Navy veteran and an employe of Highway Trailer Industries Inc.,
Edgerton, until his illness. He was married to Blanche Bladorn March 31, 1965, and was a
member of Post 1621, Veterns of Foreign Wars, Janesville.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Wesley Stebbe and Mrs. Dale Lauer, and a son,
Michael, all of Janesville; three stepsons, Terry Brown, Janesville, Ken and Poni Brown in
California; a stepdaughter, Mrs. John Hake, Palmyra; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs.
Muriel Topp, Janesville, Mrs. Jacquelyn Cookson, Milton; and Mrs. Nancy Howard, Waukesha;
two brothers, Donald Powers, Janesville, and William Powers, Milwaukee.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wolfgram Funeral Home, Jnesville, with military escort
and burial in Oakhill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 t 9 tonight.
