You are to be congratulated on the data you have located on this
old-timer.
I don't know anyone you have mentioned.
But perhaps you could find an obituary, since you know the place and
date of death. That would probably give you the names of his survivors, and
addresses as well. Then you could find them in the phone book, and either
speak to them or get their addresses and write.
Sometimes you can find information in a museum in the county seat town.
They may have the old newspapers on microfilm, which might have carried
stories on people moving to town, buying a farm, selling out, being elected
to public office, etc. Perhaps you know all these things already.
And the church could tell dates of marriage, names of witnesses, names
and birth dates of children, death dates and funerals.
