married JOHANNA SODERLUND, daughter of UNKNOWN SODERLUND and UNKNOWN MUNSON.
Notes for JOHN PETER CARLSON:
While working for Jon Soderlund they completed the first all-steel plow made in
California. (At the time this 1924 article was written the plow was in the possesion of
Sett.) Ohn was in charge of the woodworking department of this establishment.

Notes for AUGUST CARLSON:
August died while painting the inside of a 3,000 gallon water tank with prepared asphalt
paint number 2. There was no caution label on the can, nor had he been cautioned by
salesman. He had painted from the top down and when he started on the bottom the poison
fumes overcame him and he was assphyxiated. This was 1909.

died of the flu.
In the History of Yuba-Sutter - 1924 it state "Mr. Carlson (Sett) and his sister are
much appreciated and highly esteemed. They enjoy dispensing the old-time California
hospitality and it is a pleasure and privilege to visit their home."
