I found some pictures for this family and posted them online in the hope that a family

photographs that a seller was trying to sell on ebay. If you would like to see the photos

=========================================
This album belonged to Agnes Hammargren of Page County, Iowa. She was the youngest child
of Swan (pronounced ce-ven) Hammargren and was born about 1904. There was over 10 years
gap between oldest and youngest siblings. So Agnes' nieces and nephews who were born
in the 1910-1920 range were closer to her own age than she was to her oldest siblings.
There is an envelope dated Nov. 22, 1930 from Jamestown, NY containing a one paragraph
marriage announcement of Agnes Hammargren to Mr. David Lundquist. I could not find
anything more on Agnes. Her oldest sister was Ruth who was born about 1892. Ruth married
Lawrence Carlson (24 Nov 1885-May 1970). They had four children: Henrietta Carlson (6 Aug
1916-13 July 1996) [she never married or had any children]; Regina Carlson (born about
1919), Ruthella Carlson (born about 1923) and Earl Marvin Carlson (26 May 1926-). I could
not find married names for Regina or Ruthella. Earl is still alive but is in a nursing
home. Ruth Hammargren Carl!
son died sometime between 26 May 1926 and the 1930 census leaving her husband to raise 4
children on his own.
Agnes' next sibling was Ruben Hammargren. He was born about 1896 and his wife was
named Anna. They had one child: Swan Evald Ruben Hammargren (19 Dec 1918-17 Sept 2004).
This child went by Evald. His wife was named Clarice (2 May 1919-5 Dec 2010). They had at
least one child, Douglas Paul Hammargren (14 Feb 1948-) who lives in Shenandoah, IA. Evald
had at least one grandson, Brian Hammargren, whose wife is Lisa, and they live in Omaha
with children Andrew and Emily. Agnes' other sibling was Mildred Hammargren, born
about 1900. I could not find a married name for her. The pictures in this album are from
about 1915-1919 because they have only Henrietta, Regina and Evald in them as Agnes'
first three nieces/nephew. There are also pictures of Lawrence Carlson, Anna Hammargren,
Agnes, Mildred and Ruben Hammargren-family pets, and other group pictures. All of the
pictures have captions written next to them. There are 56 mounted pictures with corner
mounts, 10 loose pictures that w!
ere tucked inside and 33 unused black pages at the back.
