This is in reply to the following message which I received from Steve RAILEY today. I do
not find the names Steve mentions in my database. However, information about some other
members of the CARLOCK family from Petit John Mountain, AR, can be found among William H.
CARLOCK (1827 - 1865) and his descendants in the following report:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/t/i/l/Susan-E-Tilleman/GENE16-...
I show William H. CARLOCK's lineage as follows:
Hans GERLACH
David GERLACH/CARLOCK
Hanchrist "John Christian" CARLOCK
Lemuel CARLOCK
Joseph CARLOCK
James B. CARLOCK/CARELOCK
William H. CARLOCK
Does anyone else have any information that may be of use to Steve?

Subject: Carlocks in Arkansas
My name is Steve Railey, and I am researching the Carlocks in Arkansas. My
greatgrandmother, Zedna Paralee McCarrol Marlow married ? Carlock around
1906-1908. They had one son, William. William married numerous times, last
to Rosemary ?. They had two children, Johnny and Louetta.
Zedna was from the Petit Jean Mountain area, married John Henry Marlow in
1899 at Hawkstone Township near Ada Valley. She had one daughter in 1904
(my grandmother), divorced John Henry Marlow and married ? Carlock.
Any information you have would be appreciated.
Thank you very much,
Steve
