According to page 436 of the book "History of the Carlock Family," by Marion
Pomeroy CARLOCK, 1929, Mary's mother Sarah WHITMAN CARLOCK who accompanied
David and Mary to Sangamon Co., IL, died near Jacksonville, IL, in 1833.
Although I do know the exact date of David and Mary's migration to Illinois,
this would place them there by 1833.
