Page 41: August 28, 1750, John Christian CARLOCK among a list of people "added to
list of tithables."
Page 55: November 15, 1752, Heorndkis CORLOCK among a list of names to "view and
mark and keep in repair, on petition of inhabitants of the South Branch, a road from their
wagon road up the So. Fork to Peter Reed's Mill."
Page 61: November 24, 1753, "Road ordered from Saml. Stalnaker's, on Holston
River, to James Davis's ... with these workers: ... Frederick Corlock, David, George

daughter Caroline married Frederick STARNES.]

"History of the Carlock Family", Theobald (Theodore) was the son of Johann
Christian GERLACH/CARLOCK/GARLOCK, and was "found with his supposed Uncle David
Carlock in Va., in 1749; no other records on him after this date."]
