This is a follow-up to my previous postings over the past two days. I found a copy of the
death certificate for William Vogles CARLOCK on the FamilySearch site which mentions the

Does anyone have any information which could help me identify the names of William's
parents?
Also note that care must be taken not to confuse this William Vogles CARLOCK (1833 - 1915)
with William Vance CARLOCK (b. ca. 1800; d. 1837 - 1849); William Vance Colton/Culton
CARLOCK (b. 28 Sep. 1838 - 1839; d. 1924); and William N. CARLOCK, s/o William Vance
CARLOCK. Union Civil War fatality, (1834 - Apr. 16, 1863). These four men had many things
in common.
