This is the chronology of Mary H. Carlock of Warren Co., KY, the best I
could piece it together. Lots of unanswered questions. The
Heffingtons were hard for me to trace.
1804: July 7, Mary Carlock married Thomas Heffington/Hefferton in
Logan Co., KY. Thomas Heffington's brother, Stephen, married Fanny
Gilliland. Fanny Gilliland's sister Mary Ann married John Farr Lowe
who married Mary's sister, Margaret Carlock, in 1806.
1806: February 3, Mary's sister, Margaret, married Barnabus Lowe also
in Logan Co., KY.
1810: Probable father David Carlock was on page 276, line 11 of the
Warren/Spencer (formerly Logan and Lincoln) Co., KY, census as follows:
1 male 45+ - David
1 male 16-26 - son John D.
1 male 1-16 - son William Vance probably (he m. c. 1820 in MO)
1 female 45+ - Elizabeth

12 as follows:
1 male 26-44 - Thomas
1 male 0-10 - son
1 female 16-26 - wife Mary Carlock
1 female 0-10 - dtr
1 female 0-10 - dtr
