This is a follow-up to my Mar. 23, 2006, posting to the RootsWeb CARLOCK Message Board
titled "Jame A. CARLOCK (1836 - 1872) m. Susan," located at the following site:

In that posting I wrote, "It still seems likely that Sharon's theory about
Zachariah being a son of John and Wilhelmina may be correct.”
In looking at Zachariah's birthdate of ca. 1828, I now think it is likely that
Zachariah is instead a child of John and Wilhelmina's son William CARLOCK who m.
Martha WILLIAMS, Feb. 27, 1823, Franklin Co., MS. Note that Zachariah also named what
appears to be his eldest son William.
The only information I have about William and Martha so far is their wedding information.
Unfortunately, I do not have access to the 1850 census at this time. The 1850 census
could possibly help clear up this question.
Does anyone have any additional information about William CARLOCK and his family?
