Message Board Post:
The obituary for Sandra Lee DINGER CARLOCK (1959 - 2014) of Middle Brook, Missouri, who
died June 13, 2014, can be found at the following site:
http://www.colefamilyfuneralhomes.com/obituaries/Sandra-Carlock/#!/Obituary
I show the CARLOCK lineage for her husband Bill CARLOCK as follows:
Wilson J. CARLOCK (White, b. ca. 1854, IL or AR;)
William Oscar CARLOCK (b. 26 Jun 1880, Union Co., IL; d. 28 Feb 1929, Butler Co., MO)
William Oscar "Oscar" CARLOCK (b. 28 Jan 1923, MO; d.23 Jun 2003)
William Oscar "Bill" CARLOCK (b. ca. 1950)
I have not yet been able to determine the names of Wilson J. CARLOCK's parents.
Wilson probably had a first wife who was the mother of son James L. CARLOCK (b. ca. 1874,
IL). Wilson married his son William's mother Isophene DAVIDSON (b. ca. 1857, IL), 7
Apr 1878, Union Co., IL. So far I have only found Wilson on the 1880 census for South
Pass, Union Co., IL.
Other clues are as follows:
1. William Oscar CARLOCK's (1880 - 1929) World War I draft registration card lists his
nearest living relative in 1918 as Charles CARLOCK or Montreal, Canada. So far I have not
yet been able to identify Charles.
2. Mrs. H. DEMRY served as the surety for William's bond for marriage license when he
married his wife Moncie May ATKINSON, 2 Aug 1908, Greene Co., AR. I have not yet been
able to identify Mrs. H. DEMRY.
Can anyone identify Charles CARLOCK of Montreal, Canada, 1918; Mrs. H. DEMRY; or the
parents of Wilson J. CARLOCK?
