This is in reply to Robert GRONDIN's (robertogrondin(a)aol.com) Nov. 25, 2005, posting
to the RootsWeb CARLOCK Message Board titled "Short Sketch of the Life of Eld. Moses
Carlock." According to the following source, John H. CORZINE m. Ruie CARLOCK, Jan.
2, 1840, Union Co., IL. I had not previously been able to identify the parents of Ruie
CARLOCK.
Illinois State Archives, Illinois Statewide Marriage Index 1763 - 1900,
(

For further information about this family, see the following report which appears on my
home page:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/t/i/l/Susan-E-Tilleman/GENE18-...
Within that report I have George Pinkney/Pinckney CARLOCK's ancestry as follows:
Hans GERLACH
David GERLACH/CARLOCK
Frederick Cornelius CARLOCK/CARELOCK
George CARLOCK/KERLOCK/CERLAUGH
Ebenezer "Eber" CARLOCK (who m. Nellie CORZINE)
"Elder" Moses W. CARLOCK
George Pinkney/Pinckney CARLOCK
Since George's grandmother was a CORZINE, John H. CORZINE and Ruie CARLOCK were most
likely cousins. I do not yet have any additional information about either Ruie or John.
