I see a lot of family trees on Ancestry that links George Peter Garlock
with Peiter Garlock including my own. My question is REALLY. Does someone
have proof of this. According to "A History of Montgomery County NY, John
Christian and Theobold, and Elias Garlack were part holders of the Stone
Arabia patent. John was granted lots 9 and 24, Theobold, lots 16 and 40 and
Elias 29 and 51. The date was Oct 1723. I think we can assume that the
Garlocks were brothers or at least cousins and they came from England
where they received the patent.
So where did Hackensack NJ fit it.
Does anyone have any proof that George Peter was the son of Peiter
