I have finally discovered a way to expand the Outline Descendant Report for
Hans Peter GERLOCH which appears on my home page to 10 privatized
generations. I have a very large database and my program will not generate
this particular report with more than 10 privatized generations. (My
grandchildren belong to the 15th-generation.)
However, expanding from 8 to 10 generations has allowed me to include much
of the new information I have for the CARLOCK family of Dundy Co., NE, and
Yuma Co., CO. This family, descendants of John James CARLOCK (1858 – 1936),
currently appears on pages 96 through 101 of this 349 page report.
Other recent additions, to name just a few, include Major Ralph Laurence
CARLOCK who was apparently killed when his plane was shot down over Laos in
1967 (page 207); and Henry Arthur CARLOCK and Rowena LEWMAN, parents of
professional drummer Keith CARLOCK (page 5).
I still have not yet been able to connect Army Spc. Ryan Gene CARLOCK (1978
– 2003) of Colchester, McDonough Co., IL, who was mortally wounded in Iraq
while driving a fuel truck for the 416th Transportation Company, 260th
Quartermaster Battalion (Petroleum Support), to the rest of the CARLOCK
family tree. Ryan was the son of Randy CARLOCK of Colchester, IL, and
Patricia PROVINE CARLOCK EVANS of Evansville, IN. I have not yet been able
to determine the names of Ryan’s paternal grandparents. Any assistance with
this search would be greatly appreciated.
