Following are some early North Carolina and Kentucky census listings which I have been
able to locate on-line. Many, but not all, of these individuals belong to the family of
Frederick CARLOCK/CARELOCK (1720 - 1792) who settled in the portion of Mecklenburg Co.,
NC, which became Cabarrus Co. in 1792. I have included Kentucky records because the David
CARLOCK who was in Warren Co., KY, in 1810 migrated from Cabarrus Co., NC, and is believed
to have been a son of Frederick.
The listings without hyperlinks were located through HeritageQuest. I am able to access
HeritageQuest through my local library's website with a current library card number.
Unfortunately, HeritageQuest does not have all of the censuses available at this time.

Please post any other early North Carolina and Kentucky Carlock listings which you may
find. I would also be interested in any early listings for Campbell Co. and Anderson Co.,
TN, where the above-mentioned Henry CURLOCK, believed to be a son of Frederick
CARLOCK/CARELOCK (1720 - 1792), and related individuals can be found by 1806.
Most of Frederick CARLOCK/CARELOCK's (1720 - 1792) descendants migrated to the
southern states or Illinois.
