Reverend J. B. Carlock, 72, of Vidor, died on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Memorial
Hermann Baptist Hospital Beaumont.
A native of Yale County, Arkansas and resident of the Beaumont area most of his life,
Reverend Carlock was a retired minister from New Life Tabernacle.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Carlock of Vidor; children, Bonnie Cobb and her
husband Reverend Thomas Cobb of Baltimore, Maryland, Donna Hahn-Pridgen and her husband
Stanley of Fort Worth, and John Earl Carlock and his wife Rhonda of Vidor; six
grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Gussie Long; and brother, Larry Joe
Carlock. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lula Carlock; and his three
brothers.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2007 at New Life Tabernacle with
a graveside service to follow at 3:30 p.m. at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor under the
direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and
friends will take place Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the
mortuary.

Beaumont, Texas 77726 or Parkinson's Foundation, 1501 North West Ninth Avenue, Miami,
Florida 33136."
