This is in reply to Patty Barrett Emerson's (phile(a)u.washington.edu) Jan. 7, 2001,
posting to the
Ancestry.com CARLOCK message board titled "David, Frederick, George,
Samuel, Sam Lineage". In that posting Patty listed Lydia Adaline CARELOCK, b. Apr.
7, 1820, as a possible child of Samuel CARELOCK and Hester BROOKS. Is this the same
person as Lydia KERLOCK who m. Albert WALLACE Aug. 2, 1843, Anson Co., NC? According to
the following source, this marriage notice appeared in the "Charlotte Journal",
Aug. 22, 1843, and listed the groom's residence as Mecklenburg Co., NC, and the
bride's residence as Anson Co., NC:

Notice that, according to information combined from the following sources, as well as
Patty Barrett Emerson's posting, Samuel and Hester's daughter Isabel/Isabella m.
A. Jackson WALLACE, probably in Anson Co., NC. Are Albert and A. Jackson WALLACE related
to each other?
