This is a follow-up to my following two postings to the RootsWeb CARLOCK Message Board

William and Peggie were siblings, along with sister Thelma CARLOCK, b. 1909, MO, who m.
CLORIN, and brother Robert O. CARLOCK, b. Sept. 7, 1917, Poplar Bluff, Butler Co., MO; d.
Sept. 25, 1917, Poplar Bluff, Butler Co., MO.
Their parents were William Oscar CARLOCK, white, b. ca. 1882, Union Co., IL; candy maker;
d. Feb. 28, 1929, Butler Co., MO; and Mancie May ATKINSON, white, b. 1889, Weakley(?) Co.,
TN. The couple was married ca. 1908, Butler Co., MO. I have not yet been able to locate
the elder William on the 1900 census. I have also not yet been able to identify the names
of his parents.
So far I have located this family on the following censuses:

Note that the death certificate for Robert O. CARLOCK, which can be located through the
following site, lists the birth place of the elder William Oscar CARLOCK as Union Co.,
