This is in reply to Dean WILLIAMS's posting to this list earlier today
titled "Carlock Southwest Mississippi." Following is all that I have so far
for this family. Note that I show John and Elizabeth as marrying in
Franklin Co., MS, instead of Amite Co., MS. I do not yet have enough
information to determine the names of Elizabeth's parents.
Descendants of Elizabeth CARLOCK
Generation No. 1
1. ELIZABETH1 CARLOCK1,2,3. She married JOHN R. PARKER4,5,6 March 19, 1835
in Franklin Co., MS7,8,9.

I have a lot of miscellaneous information about the Mississippi CARLOCKs,
some of which I have been able to connect to the rest of the CARLOCK family,
and some of which I have not yet been able to connect to the rest of the
CARLOCK family. Most of these individuals appear to be descended from
Frederick CARLOCK (s/o David GERLACH/CARLOCK, Hans GERLACH) of Mecklenburg
Co., NC.
At the moment if you go to my home page at the following site, then scroll
down to the "Family Tree Maker Reports and Trees" section, you will see the
words "View PDF" after the report titled "Genealogy Report: Descendants of
Hans GERLACH." Click on the words "View PDF." If you have Adobe Acrobat
on
your computer, you can search for any words you choose within my report,
such as "Franklin Co., MS", etc. If you don't already have Adobe Acrobat
on
your computer, you can download it free-of-charge off the Internet. For
some unknown reason, sometimes when I upload a revised version of my report
the words "View PDF" appear after the report and sometimes they do not. I
do not understand why this happens.

The information for those CARLOCKs whom I have not yet been able to connect
to the rest of the CARLOCK family, such as the above-mentioned John R. and
Elizabeth (CARLOCK) PARKER, do not appear in the above-mentioned report
which appears on my home page. Please let me know if you find any
additional information about Elizabeth or her ancestry.
