Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
This is a follow-up to my May 25, 2006, posting to the CARLOCK list titled "Descendants of George W. CARLOCK (b. ca. 1779, NC) and Rachel LANDERS." I received the following e-mail from David DUNHAM today and am posting it with his permission. I will keep the list updated as more information becomes available.

I have the Hans Michael Book broken down into two books, one for each of his wife's.
Volume One has the descendants of him and his unknown name wife, and has 522 pages of descendants (8,881) and 12 generations.
Volume Two has same and is for his wife Mary Landers, has 282 pages, 4,792 descendants, and 12 generations.
I have to figure what the cost will be and let you know.

See my May 23, 2006, posting to the RootsWeb GOODNIGHT List which follows. David DUNHAM's book about the descendants of Hans Michael GOODNIGHT will include all known descendants of George W. CARLOCK/CEARLOCK (b. ca. 1779, NC) and his wife Rachel LANDERS (d/o Catherine "Katy" GOODNIGHT, Hans Michael "Michael" GUTKNECHT/GOODNIGHT), also known as "the Illinois branch of the CEARLOCK/CURLOCK family."
George's descendants used the spellings CARLOCK, CEARLOCK, and CURLOCK.
David currently has 3 orders for this book, but says he needs about 10 orders before he can proceed with printing.
If this is your line, please let me know of any additions or corrections to the information found in the GERLACH report on my website. On that website I have George as s/o David CARLOCK, Frederick CARLOCK/CARELOCK, David GERLACH/CARLOCK, Hans GERLACH. The report is also searchable in PDF format by clicking on the words "(View PDF)" following the name of the report. In addition to making those changes on my report, I will also forward them to David.
For further information about David's book and the GOODNIGHT family, see the following site:

I received the following e-mail from David DUNHAM and am posting it with his permission. In a separate e-mail he adds, The books "are not hard bound, but 8 1/2 + 11 spiralbound. This was the cheapest method I could use, as hard bound would be a lot more and I would have to have 100 or more orders to break even."

Thank you for the post on my book! The original book got so large it became very expensive, and was too costly for many researchers. It had the descendants of Hans, Christian, and George Goodnight. I decided to break it down into 3 separate books. One for each of the brothers. I have finished "Christian Goodnight 1722-1795" 192 pages, 2,831 descendants. 11 generations. Cost is only $15 plus postage. (this is my line) The other books will be: "Hans Michael Goodnight" 518 pages, 9,524 descendants, 12 Generations.
"George Gerick Goodnight" 182 pages, 3,178 " 11 ". Cost estimate of $20 plus postage.
The book on Hans Michael I do not know the cost, estimate $65-$75, but I would need several orders as it would be a large book and expensive to print. If enough orders come in, I could reduce the price.
