Hi-I think my link to Walter Carlisle is probably not what you want. My
grandfather was a Walter Carlisle but he was born in the late 1800s. As far
a "legal" children, he had a girl, Virginia born about 1905, my Dad, Harold,
born in 1910 and a son Reginald who died young. I hate to say it but he was
the type of guy to have had a kid we didn't know about. But I was born in
1947 and he (Walter) died in 1956. If any of this helps you, write me at
gketterl(a)aol.com.

My son-in- law was born 7 Oct 1958 in California and was raised by a
succession of step fathers. When he was 37 his mother told him his father
was not the man named Hankins that he believed to be his father, but a man
named Walter Carlisle.
My son-in-law would like very much to know something about his Carlisle
heritage. If a Walter Carlisle on this list recognizes himself and is
willing to talk, or pass information to his son through me, I would
appreciate hearing from him.
Thanks for your time, Marilyn Young
