The Scott County, IN web site of
www.genroots.org/scott/in
does not work. The lady that was in charge of this site decided to change
it without notice to me. At this time, if you click on this site, it will
switch over to a porn site.
We are working on a new site for The Scott County, Indiana
Historical/Genealogical Societies. The previous site was free to us, but
so
we don't have trouble again, I am checking prices about getting
another
site
that is paid for, therefore, I shouldn't have to worry about
someone
pulling
it. I'll notify you when it is completed.
I am so sorry this old address is switching to a Porn Site.

Hello,
Thank you for the information.
By the way, I have a Carlisle line that was from Halifax/Edgecombe Counties,
NC from the 1700's and my line ended up in Graves Co., Ky by 1875. Any
connection.
I'm also the National Membership Chairman of the Family of Bruce Society in
America, the Carlisle's tie in to the Bruces, the Kings of Scotland. The
Carlisle name is one of only 6 surnames allowed to join the Society, du to
the close ties of the Bruces of Scotland.
Thanks,
Lynn R. McR. Hawkins, FSA (Scot.)
