I am sorry I dont recognize any of the names you list as being in our Carlisle line. I
suppose there are several different Carlisle lines would be nice if we could connect them
in anyway...(dreaming..ha) I will keep your names in mind and try to get it to you if I
ever find anything. Thanks for the inquiry.

I'm curious since the Carlisle and Merritt lines connect in Alabama. I know it's a
long shot and possibly just a coincidence but I wonder if you know of McAdams in that
line.
I have a McAdams family of NC that married Martha Ann Turner in 1801 in Unknown,
Jefferson, AL, they named their first child Merritt, and later generations continued the
name. The McAdams descendents were in Erath Co, TX where their daughter Susan E. married
R. D. Carlile/etc in 1859, the name Merritt was passed on into the Carlile line with their
first child -Thomas Merritt. Just wondering if there could be some connection.
