Hi. Have to interject here and ask from which Carlisle family do you come?
I'm from Sarah Ann Carlisle who married Jonathon Wilson in Lawrence County.
Also, John, are you from the Bass line from the Jackson County area?
Thanks
Louvenia Solar

As far as I know, Ben Carlisle stayed in NC and the rest ended up in Ala. But
this was the very early 1800's. What are the dates on your TN bunch. John

Hi there,
I know I'm replying to a somewhat old message, but I just stumbled into it! My husband has an ancestor named Susannah Carlisle who was born in Jackson Co, TN. She married an Osgathorpe. Do you think this one ties in to your lines?

Hi Miss Sandi,
Yes it's me. I'm in Lumberton, MS. Lost track of everything and everyone
after a major computer crash. John
Big John,
The earliest ones we have are from Brunswick and Columbus County, NC. Most
of them stayed very much in place.
Henny

I still want to find the "document?" written by Mrs Frank Ross Stewart in Pike County ______ Vol 1.
Laurie Cavender posted a message that it existed and proved that Daniel was Richard Carlisle's (SC) father.
I don't know how to contact Laurie.
Does anyone else know anything about this?
Thanks, Billie

My William Carlyle was in Dekalb Co. in 1850 with his family: Wife, Nancy, Daughters, Margaret, Arena, Mary and son, James. Could he be related to your Green Carlyle?
Thanks.
