I am looking for anyone doing research on the Carlisle family who settled in St. Clair County, Michigan. I have records back to the early 1800s in Northumberland Co. (Newcastle District), Hamilton township Ontario. They show up in St. Clair Co. by 1870. Names include Newton, William, Arthur, Amy, Percy, Minnie, Albert, Theodore, Allan, Hattie, Frank, Charles, Murial, Aileen, Lincoln, Harold, Edith, Robert, Jack, and many more.

I grew up in Ironwood, MI across the street from a Carlisle family. They have family from Trout Creek that would come and visit all the time. They still reside in Ironwood.
