Hi,
The farthest back I can find is Daniel Carlisle out of Fayette Co.PA abt. 1790. He moved to Columbiana Co. Ohio about 1815 and purchased section 35 of Centre Township. I have not come across a Homer Carlisle or Floyd..however one never knows as I continue to research the collateral lines..they tended to have really big families back then.lol...
I will post if I find a connection...
Good Luck,
Cynthia
A Homer Carlisle was the brother of my maternal great-grandfather: Floyd Carlisle (3/27/1902-8/24/1991)
Is there any connection?
