I am looking for any info on the parents of Charles Thomas Carlisle who married Bertha Ellen Knight sometime prior to 1913. They had several children including George Perry Carisle, Sr. and Alice Carlisle. George had my father George Perry Carlisle, Jr. Family rumor has it that Charles' family was wealthy and from the MD or DC area. They disowned him when he married a poor WV/MD girl. Can any one solve our family myster?
