Carlins in Canada:
http://www.CarlinArchives.com/carlin-canada.htm
I've just updated our "Carlins in Canada" page, URL above, but about
two min. ago I found a typo in the "Carlin Weblinks" list on that
page. I think the proper, normal, calm reaction to this is and should
be #$%$%!
Anyway, the page has been updated, with references and links to the
first two Carlin families in Canada: the Brockville Carlins (who
emigrated to Canada from Cook County in
1830)(www.CarlinArchives.com/brockville.htm) and the Grenville Carlins
(who emigrated to Canada from Ireland in 1836)
(
www.CarlinArchives.com/grenville.htm).
We also include some nice information about Ms. Carlin Joie, a young
Toronto singer with a truly haunting voice that will linger in your
mind long after you hear her. She's really fantastic... as, of course,
a Carlin should be! <g>
You can download free .mp3's of her music at a link on our website.
Toronto has become Hollywood North, so let's hope she makes it big.
(Rosemary Clooney has already had her name in lights, and deservedly
so; it's time for Carlin Joie!)
