Our "Carlins in Missouri" webpage, listing Carlin men and women in
early Missouri, has been revised and updated. Phraseology has been
corrected, new graphics added, and a superb page background installed
(showing a color rendition of the state capitol).
In case you're wondering, the earliest Carlin in Missouri, as best as
we can determine, was William Carlin, who was a private in Capt.
Phelps' [Mounted] Company, Missouri Militia, during the War of 1812.

I hope shortly to finish the updates on all state webpages. In the
meanwhile, you can see a list of Carlins in the early history of
almost every U.S. state by using the same URL above, and substituting
your state's full name, as one word, in place of the word "missouri."
So the Carlins in Texas page is at
http://www.attorney.carlin.net/states/texas.htm and the Carlins in
South Carolina page is at
http://www.attorney.carlin.net/states/southcarolina.htm .
Please let me know about any updates or corrections. Thank you.
