There's a small gulch in Teller and Fremont Counties, Colorado, named Carlin
Gulch. In fact, a small river runs through it.

What's most newsworthy right now is this: We now have some photographs of Carlin
Gulch, courtesy of Jim Irving. Jim's not a Carlin descendant (perhaps we should
make him an honorary one), but he's an experienced genealogist in Colorado, as
well as a hiker and photographer. He recently took a trip to Carlin Gulch, to
see it for himself and to photograph it for us.
