Hi,
I don't know if the following information can be placed at your website, but I am
hoping it can be included.
After 18 years of research, I finished a book, "John Champ Carlin and His
Descendants." It is about my ancestor, John Champ Carlin, who emigrated from Ireland
with his wife and baby son. He joined the 7th Virginia Regiment and fought in the Rev.
War. His children and grandchildren resided in Virginia, although some later moved to
other states.
The book, which follows his descendants to the present, has almost 500 pages. It
includes numerous photographs, maps, information on cemeteries, as well as copies of
numerous documents such as birth certificates, death certificates, marriage records,
Bibles, land records, probate records, estate sale records, church records, etc. It has 7
chapters, all of which are footnoted. There is also a 5-page bibliography. When I
discovered the names of other Carlins who lived in nearby areas, even though they were not
related, I also included that information. Thus, I think that serious Carlin researchers
will be interested in it, not just descendants of John Champ Carlin.

Thanks for your help,
