Our "Carlin Cities and Sites" webpage has been completely overhauled.
It has a new, more colorful page background, and headline graphics
have been centered.
(This is all the fault <g> of Colin Carlin in England, who said that
he liked a particular page with centered graphics, rather than its
previous style, which was indented from the left. He was totally
on-target, and the inevitable result is that every page at The Carlin
Archives will have to be updated to reflect these better-than-before
graphics. So, while I'm honestly grateful to Colin for his idea, .....
The "Carlin Cities and Sites" page lists Carlin sites and places in
the U.S., England, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and Australia.
These site include cities (Carlin, Nevada; Carlinville, Illinois),
towns (Carling, Georgia), lakes (Lake Carlin, Wisconsin), an
environmental trail (the Emma F. Carlin Environmental Trail in
northern Wisconsin), a dam (Carlin Dam, near Greeley, Colorado), a
small river (the Carlin Stream, a rivulet in Wabash County, Indiana),
museums, college buildings, libraries, waterways, historic sites.
It's a fascinating webpage, with lots of interesting information.
