Dear Carlile researchers:
I am looking for information that could help me with some of my genealogy.
I am seeking information on a ship's log of passengers who may have entered
America in the era of 1700-1790. I believe that they came in through New
York and their names were Jonathan and Joseph. These two were brothers and
one went to South Carolina or the Carolina's and the other one went to
Kentucky.
Does anyone have any information concerning either one of these two men?
Does anyone have any information on how I can go about locating ship
passengers before they started using Ellis Island. They would have been in
the US before Ellis Island was the later immigrant destination.
If you can help me, please e mail or contact me by mail.
Thank you
Troy Carlile
