My Carlile's came from Ireland about 1790-1796. They appear to have been in
PA, moved for a short time to VA and then to Tuscarawas and Carroll Co., OH.
There may have been some who moved to KY but I don't happen to have any in
my family that I know of.

Dear Stephen:
Thanks for answering so quick. MY Carlile's came to America earlier but
don't know when. They came out of South Carolina and from what I can see is
that my ggg Grandfather William Niler( may be Nailer) Carlile left there and
came to Ark Territory in or about 1807-9 era and and according to the 1860
census shows a girl born in KY around 1905-7 and then on down to central
Ark. I know there was a Carlile living in Ky and I believe he came from SC
also and moved up there earlier. He is listed in one of the census as
being
there. So, I am seeking info on this unknown Carlile living there. Thanks
again for the answer. Troy Carlile in Tulsa, Ok
