good.
James, The Hannah Coleman I am refering to is the daughter of Stephen Ross
and Sarah Baxter. She marries first, ??? Coleman and then Nathaniel
Marion. Wm. and Elizabeth are living in Horry Co. along with John and Mary
Carlile in 1800. John dies and Mary is living in Horry (with children)
with the 1810 census. In 1820 has moved to Charleston (Berkley Co.) on the
property of Nathaniel Marion and Hannah Ross Coleman Marion. Mary is not
listed in 1830, but David Nathaniel Carlile, Jehu (celtic for John)
Carlile and Alexander Mc Calisle (son of James Carlisle, who came to
Fairfield Co.from Ireland in 1818) all live close by in 1830. In 1831-32
all three move to MS along with James son Thomas. David once told a census
taker his name was James Nathaniel Carlile (maybe he was growing senile or
finally telling the truth). I don't have the least idea how this all fits
together, but I know it does because the Feasters, Colemans and Carliles
all moved to FL together in the 1850-60s and refered to themselves as
kinfolk.
