Could the E.C. be Z.C. (Zelmar Claude Carlile) who had a sister named Myrtle
Carlile both being born in Roxton Texas. They had 2 other brothers Mack
Carlile and Clarence Carlile & one sister that was burnt in a fire at 8 yrs
old, named Bertha. Their Mother was Sanora & Sam Carlile.
Sanora & Sam are buried in Lee Cemetery outside Roxton at Noble.
Mrytle has 2 daughters living in Oregon, one being Sylvia.

Dear Mellanie:
Thanks for the letter seeking information on the Carlile's of Texas,
Georgia. I am sorry to tell you that I have not information on your E. C.
(do you know what EC stands for) or Myrtle L Carlile Blanks.
I have Carlile's in Texas, but they migrated from NW ARK into Texas
during
the 1860's. 3 of them fought for the Confederate Army during the
Civil
War.
