I apologize if some of you get duplicates of this message as I am sending it

I am looking for information for Rebecca Blalock. Information from her
granddaughter states she was married to a CARLISLE, possibly DAVID CARLISLE,
who enlisted in War of 1812 on July 12, 1812, died while serving on May 24,
1813. Several sources shows Rebecca's husband served & died in this war.
Rebecca Blalock Carlisle had the following children: William b 1804, Fannie
b 1808, Terrell b 1810, David B b 1813, James & Adaline (this could be
Fannie) who married George Graham. I have found Apprentice (Guardian)
records for William, dated 1814 & Fannie and Terrill, dated 1817. Since
their father died in the war, the other children may also have been
apprenticed out but these are loose records in Raleigh and hard to find.
Also looking for any information on Major John Blalock. I believe he may be
the father of Serina Blalock who married Terrill Carlisle in Randolph Co, NC
in 1838. The Carlisles and Blalocks appeared in Chatham & Randolph Co, NC
before coming to Stokes & Surry Co, NC. William Carlisle and some of
Terrill's children left NC and went to Morgan Co, Indiana. Some of them
spent some time in TN.
Hope somone is researching these 2 families.
