Looking for relatives...Carley...from Danbury CT....for as long as anyone
remembers? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank-you
In the William Kerley_Carley Line (he having died in MA 1670 after
immigrating from Dorset County England) there is a branch of his family
that moved to Ct . around 1747-48 with their, 4 children. Various records
locate them and their children as living in Marlboro, Fairfield, Freeport,
Westport.
They are listed in "Families of Old Fairfield, Ct" by D.L. Jacobus, MA.
vol 1, p. 559. (I do not have this book nor do I know where to obtain it, my
information has been passed on from my cousin who has since died.)
Perhaps this can be of some assistance.
Jacalyn Carley
