Gordon-
Do you remember where you found the reference to Capt. Henry having a son William? As you
may have read, we've found a William, b. 1633, d. 1719 in Lexington, MA (husband of
Jane/ brother of Henry) and although his Will only mentions daughters, we are speculating
whether the sons were omitted to provide the daughters with a dowrey. They had a daughter
Elizabeth, b. 1683, which leaves room for a son William b at about the same time who would
have been the William mentioned as being married to Mary Bowden by Cotton Mather in 1703 -
Boston. As Abraham was a son of a William and born @ 1717, he would fit well into the
family line. Mary Bowden had a brother Abraham and a grandfather Ambrose which give us
precedence for the continuation of the name. Abraham's first daughter was named
Mary.
