In the early Cutter information, William the Immigrant seems to have been in Hingham, MA
by 1637. The William and Edmond who came on the Confidence didn't get to MA until
1638 and then Edmond disappears. It is most likely that William the Immigrant came with
wife Ann, daughter Mary and sons Henry and William all at one time and it was before 1638.
I have never been able to find any reference to Ann, Mary, Henry and William, Jr's
arrival. Several ships got to MA but their passenger lists were either lost or never
filed so it is possible that they did come over on a later ship.
The William who came with Edmond is probably the William born in 1619/20 and is the one
who gave testimony at the age of 40+ in the court documents, Edmond is known to have been
22 at the time that he is supposed to have gotten here - He is most likely a cousin of
Mary, Henry and William, Jr and is the one who married Hannah King as she was born in
1625. In his Will dated 1684, Hannah's William gives Henry whom he calls his brother
his armour, but he would have been born too early to be a son of William Sr - the
Immigrant - and too young to have been a father to Mary, Henry and William, Jr.
