That would have to relate to William Kerly, the Immigrant, b. 1602 and Planter at Hull in
1637 who was in Sudbury by 1640 and Lancaster by 1654 where he died in 1670.
Ensign William Kerley of the Confidence of 1638, The Immigrant's nephew(?), b.
1620/21 was made Freeman at Marlborough in 1666 where he lived until he died in
1684, while William, Jr. (Carly/Carley)b. 1633, stayed in Sudbury until about 1672 when he
and wife Jane were briefly in Marlborough on the way to Cambridge by 1673 and
in Lexington by 1692. I don't have a date for his becoming Freeman.
This seems to be the only way to separate these 3 Williams whose names appear on common
documents until they move away from each other --
