Descendants of Nathaniel Carlton
Generation One
1. Nathaniel1 Carlton1,1 was born on Monday 8 September 1732 in Bradford, Essex
County, Massachusetts.1 He and Olive Farrwell filed marriage intention on 9 October 1756
in Lunenburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts, daughter of Captain Henry Farrwell.2 Rev.
David Stearns married Nathaniel Carlton and Olive Farrwell on 1 November 1756 in
Lunenburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts.3 He died on Monday 17 March 1806 in Reading,
Windsor County, Vermont, at age 73.4 He was buried in Old Bailey Mill Cemetery, Reading,
Windsor County, Vermont.4
He lived in Bradford and Lunenburg, Massachusetts, New Ipswich, New Hampshire and Reading,
Vermont. He was in the Revolutionary war from New Ipswich. He was 43 years old, a farmer,
6 feet tall, with brown complexion and blue eyes. He served in Captain Towne's
Company, Colonel James Reed Regiment as a private. He was the original owner of Lot 2,
Range 14, in New Ipswich, New Hampshire in 1762.4
Olive Farrwell4 was born on Saturday 19 July 1732 in Lunenburg, Worcester County,
Massachusetts.4 She died on Sunday 2 September 1810 in Reading, Windsor County, Vermont,
at age 78.4 She was buried in Old Bailey Mill Cemetery, Reading, Windsor County,

County, Vermont, at age 52.5 He was buried in Old Bailey Mill Cemetery, Reading, Windsor
County, Vermont; Sacred to the memory of Cap't Henry Carlton who departed this life
